An young organization which is growing at a rapid pace in India, that is dedicated in making healthcare simpler for everyone. They are bringing the doctors and patients together on the same platform so as to find the best doctor, and doctors can manage their patients and clinics in better way with the help of technology.
Practo wanted to find Sales Warriors (as they name it) for hunting down the market across India to keep up or rather increases the pace for their rapid growth index. Only male candidates were eligible for the role and had to fill 60+ openings in 6 major cities. All it mattered was the quality, selling ability of the candidate and their culture fit to the organization as said by one of the HRs.
Freshersworld.com (FW) solution
We proposed the solution in pooling the students in Nodal Centers in each state-Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi in Phase I and second phase in Indore, Mumbai and Pune. FW did the online assessment for all participants and the shortlisted candidates will be going through GD and PI (both elimination rounds), the final selected candidates were announced on the same date itself.
An HR-Team of Practo along with a Freshersworld personnel did travel to the decided venues. The first round of selection process was online assessment .Assessment was conducted and the shortlisted candidates were divided into 3 different panels for GD and further to that 2 rounds of PI was done before finalizing the selects in each venue. Much to the satisfaction of students and colleges the entire process was completed in the same day itself.
a) Branding the Job and Online Registration
Fresherworld.com initiated an online registration among the campuses across India inviting applicants through our site and TPOs with an Online Student Management tool (OSM) to filter and shortlist students profile in each stage and to send call letters in advance to intimate on the date time and venue of drive. We made use of our 5 lac+ likes in FB as well for branding the job among the young job aspirants.
b) Freshersworld Assessment
In order to screen the candidates from the pool of attendees Freshersworld.com online assessment platform was used which is specially designed for campus hiring needs of companies. The test for Practo was a customized accordingly for 30 mts and 30 questions which were well approved by the HR.
Test links were sent a day prior to their email ids according to the time schedule of their batch. (Unique link and the questions were random for each student).On the test date the candidates just had to click on the test link to start the assessment .The test platform was automatically scalable as per the number of test takers in each location. This gives us the flexibility to handle 300+ students in majority of the venues. Real time support was given by FW-Team for the smooth execution of the event.
c) Operational Assistance
Logistics: All the drives in quick paces (see table below) need to have a complete management of the logistics had to be perfect. We along with the college support made sure that the HRs were having no trouble in that.
Assessment/GD/Interview: Prior connection with TPOs and student co-ordinators in finalizing the list of attendees for the drive, intimating the lab in charge to be equipped with the necessary specifications to be met for a smooth execution of the test.
– Real time online and back end support from technical team during the event.
– Score card to HR team in short time for dividing the students to different GD groups and then to interview.
