What To do After College Graduation During Quarantine Season
1. Follow your passion, not money
Short term thinking – Imagine you are working for an organization that pays you well but you’re not happy with your work; you don’t like what you’re doing. In simple terms, you don’t like your job.
Long term thinking – Imagine a situation where you’re working for an organization that pays you less but you love what you’re doing; you’re working for an organization that makes you happy even though you get less pay.
2. Be honest with your dream
Try to find out the key to your happiness. Something that you’d love to do for the rest of your life. Make it happen. Be honest with your dreams, never ever allow people’s views to rupture your views and dreams. Your family might not approve your ideas for your future but at the end of the day, you know what’s best for you.
3. Hard work + consistency
When you’re working hard towards the goal of your dreams, you should make sure that you are consistent about it. Wake up in the morning, focus on your goal and be sure to do this every time you open your eyes in the morning. Consistency is about working hard, every single day.
4. Don’t be afraid to try new things
You might be stuck with something. A course. Or a job. You thought you had the interest but you might not really like what you’re doing. In that case, don’t be afraid to try new things. New things teach you to be versatile, you might get to know a side of yourself that never existed! Many experts say there is nothing wrong with jumping to an activity or field you don’t have experience in.
5. Make mistakes
Committing mistakes is the best way to learn in life. It’s the best thing that would have ever happened to you, even though you’ll feel bad about it at the moment. But at the end of the day, you’re learning what you’re good at and what you’re not good at.
Start exploring new things early in life, so that you get more time to find out where your passion lies. Committing mistakes is not a bad idea. Do it to learn better in life.
Money can make you happy, until a point. At the end of the day, you cannot depend your happiness on money alone, you must be happy on your mind as well.
