Meeting with Campus Ambassadors of New Delhi & nearby

After having an awesome time in Jaipur, I left for New Delhi by Volvo from Jaipur. CAs Rahul Mittal and Saumya Chaturvedi accompanied me till the bus stand and we also did a bit of sight seeing in Jaipur. I got to see the Jantar Mantar and the City Palace. Since it was peak summer, I really did not want to walk around.

The CAs helped me get tickets and I was in Delhi, the evening of 17th. After meeting friends from college and a bit of partying, I finally took some rest.

The CA meeting in Delhi was held at the Cafe Coffee Day in CP. The organisation of the meeting was taken care by Deepanshu Singh. The first person to arrive was Satya Dev Kaushik and we started discussing about some initiatives to increase placements. He told me that to get the approval of faculty members for many of the ideas we have, we really needed to get some placements going. I really think this is important as well and we will certainly do this.

Ajay arrived next with his successor CA for next year, Mohammed Akthar. Ajay is a knowledgeable guy and proposed may ideas. He also told me that he is ready to take care of the Power Prep section on the site which needs some updating.

Deepanshu arrived and we talked in detail about the MSP programme from Microsoft and how some of the ideas of Microsoft can be used by us.

Ajay has also expressed a desire to handle the Delhi Chapter of the CA programme and I am sure if we create Regional Groups, activities can gather more steam than me travelling around all the time although I love doing this!

As my brain was clogged with all the ideas, I asked each one of them to send me MOMs (Minutes of the Meeting). As I had to board a bus to Chandigarh, the CAs took me through the Delhi Metro (the first time I did that) and I then reached ISBT.
