Alva’s Pragthy – 2013, Off-campus recruitment @ Mangalore, 11 May 2013

Pragthy – an Annual Recruitment drive initiated by Alva’s education society to enhance the placement opportunities in Mangalore region was successfully completed in association with Freshersworld.com on May 11 & May 12 2013.

Pragthy 2013 saw much bigger response than the previous years in terms of students and company’s participation and turned out to be the biggest recruitment drive in Mangalore.

Alva´s Pragthy 2013 has witnessed over 15000 job aspirants applying for various positions in 163 companies who participated in this placement drive.

Major recruiters were IBM, Infosys, Biocon, Tafe, Nandi Toyota, UAE Exchange, Mphasis, L&T, Coca-Cola, Fortis etc.

The very aim of this initiative is to create and provide a strong platform for the employers as well as the job aspirants wherein they both work together hand in hand on mapping and fine tuning the aspiration of the aspirants in order to match work requisites with the industry specifications.

We hope that more such recruitment events will happen and we will have few more events like Pragthy in the coming months to fill the gap between unemployment and employment.
