FW Talk at Roland Institute, Berhampur : CA Program

I reached Bhubaneshwar by train from Howrah and then boarded the next train to Berhampur. Berhampur is just 2 hours away from Bhubaneshwar and one of the most self motivated, hard working and energetic CAs, Suman Subudhi was there to receive me. The hospitality was excellent and I was taken to a hotel. After some time, we rushed to the college. The Principal, HR, Additional Director and other faculty members gave me a huge reception and I was taken around the campus.

After refreshments, my session started. The Principal gave the welcome speech and I started my lecture. The students sat spellbound and I had a lot of fun with them cracking jokes and engaging the audience. When I come to my last slides that are about dreams and the law of attraction, I just talked about Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om dialog about the “saari karnath” coming together for you. Some of the students told me that my presentation was actually better than Om Shanti Om and there was another person who remarked, “Sir, we have been  having Pre Placement training” for the last 3 years and you taught us everything in just a matter of 2 hours. This is the best praise I have got for my speech.

After the presentation, we had some GD sessions. Suman, a great event manager had organised everything. We had two GD sessions and some interviews to select successors for Suman. The prizes were distributed by Principal Sir and we took some photographs.

After lunch, I was dropped back at the hotel. Suman joined me there and some students also came to meet me. The Placement Officer of the college who was away on meetings came to the hotel to meet me at around 11 PM. We had an animated discussion and I was able to convince him about our initiatives.

The next day morning, I took a train for Bhubaneshwar. I would like to thank Suman for his persistence and hard work and I am sure he will turn out to be one great leader for Freshersworld.com and for the country.
