MuSigma Recruitment Drive 2012 – 13 BLR

The second Schedule of the MuSigma Recruitment drive was done successfully at Bangalore today. It was a fantastic response. More than 1000 + candidates lined up in the eco-friendly campus of East Point College Of Engineering,Bangalore.

We should tell the campuses is so eco-friendly with trees around and a well maintained garden. As one enters the campus he/she would encounter a temple under the tall banyan tree and one could hear the tangling sounds of the bell even in far distance.

The drive was well executed through the placement coordinators of the respective College and the team at The drive was for both 2012/2013 candidates. A disciplined crowd as expected, who was eager to get placed. The candidates was first screened to check whether they belong to the respective campus  and then allowed to take the test. The test as we told was an online test of 30 minutes duration with technical and aptitude questions. The Wi-Fi at the college was working properly, so we didn’t have any technical glitches in conducting the drive.

Sasken is a publicly traded company in Bangalore offering research and development consultancy globally. The company had 30 openings for BE/Btech 2012 (Male) pass outs with 60%. Considering the client openings for 30 candidates we rolled around 2526 call letters and we are happy to tell that 700 candidates turned up.

Hi Guys.. We had our next successful drive at Delhi (For Gurgaon & Noida office of Alcatel-Lucent) on 28th of July.

We had around 200+ candidates attending the drive and 49 of them cleared the written test. This time it was only for 2012 passout freshers and we had a better turnout compared to the last time.

The photos of the drive are still awaited and the names of the final offered candidates will be published soon.. ( some of the final interviews are happening today as well ).

Yes.. We did it.. !!!

When initially I was asked to take up this drive, I did wonder ‘How am I going to Do it’?
The mandate was to line up around 300 Electronics (ECE) and Computer Science graduates (70% above) from Top 40 Engg. colleges in India including IITs, NITs, BITS, IIIT etc..

We received around 20,000 applications and there were around 2000 eligible candidates from across India. The last 4 days were completely spend on informing the candidates thru our SMS & mail platform to attend the event on Saturday (7th). Goodrich Pooled Campus Drive 2012

Wow !! … One more feather in the cap for

We have just completed one of our Best recruitment drives ever for freshers – pooled campus drive for Goodrich Aerospace in Bangalore.

Goodrich Campus recruitment drive 2012Around 1500 + candidates turned up from 2012 Mechanical & Aerospace Engg branches from premium colleges across India. Some of the candidates had called and expressed their inability to attend since this was the exam time and hence they couldn’t travel from far off cities. Still it was surprising to see so many turned up from the total list of 2200+ call letters sent to eligible / shortlisted candidates across India. I could even spot candidates who traveled all the way from Delhi.

The Challenge:
We knew it was a challenge when the client gave the requirements for conducting a pooled campus drive as it was only for 2012 Mechanical & Aerospace branches. We knew that lots of students from premier college would have already got placed and since the exams are happening, they wouldn’t travel. Guess our online reach, our TPO relations and marketing efforts proved it again and we had a shocking turnout for such a niche requirement.

QuEST Global – Mega Off Campus drive on March 31st, 2012

One more feather to our cap…

We call this mega, because of the total requirement, and it was 125 opening and the total participants for the drive were over 3000 candidates…

I reached the venue by 9.30am, by then a huge sea of crowd was waiting at the gate of Pritech 2 building, behind Eco Space on outer ring road, Bangalore. All candidate waiting with call letter from Freshersworld..lot standing and clarifying about the opening, few parents who have come with their kids…lot of tension and excitements.

Campus Lead of QuEST Engineering had made elaborate arrangement to conduct written test for all these 3000 candidates. 4 tables were arranged with volunteers from Freshersworld managing them to do the registrations, tables were for Mechanical, Electrical, E&C and CS, we had freshers and also candidate with experience.

We all were waiting to get update from Justin – Sr.Manager HR on number of candidates attending the drive at Hyderabad Intergraph office, our estimate was about 300 candidates…at 9.30am my mobile the message just 55 candidates have arrived…after 20 minutes again the mobile beeped..i shouted in joy 400 candidates have reached the venue…Justin message back saying “Congrats, good footfall”….

Oracle Pooled Campus Drive at Chennai

We have just completed another major drive at Chennai and came back to office. This drive was for Oracle and their target was to hire around 40-50 fresh engineering graduates thu this drive. We had successfully managed a drive with around 3500 + candidates attending the test on one day. Finally 56 successful offers were made.

Q – Res Application suggested using the Q-Res application for short listing candidates. Jobs were posted in the Hot Jobs section and applications invited. Candidates directly applied by using their ID. Close to 30,000 applications were received from all over India. The team filtered the entire database of applicants for criteria mentioned that included the various Engineering streams, batch, cut off percentage, location, etc.
